Dear Friends and Family,
Hey, everyone! Thank you all for the incredible support so many of you have provided for my mission in Nepal this summer. I wanted to take this time to give you an update on the team I’m a part of, as well as some logistical information. First of all, I’m a part of a ten-person team, all of which are students at APU. We’ve been spending this semester getting to know each other though weekly team meetings, fundraisers, etc. I’m looking forward to serving with each of them!
Logistically, many of you have asked when we are leaving and where we/I are, financially speaking. Well, thanks to your support, we were the first team eligible to buy plane tickets! As a result, the official dates of the trip are June 3rd – July 11th. That’s a full 5 weeks in country!
Financially, as a team, we raised over $600 from one garage sale not long ago! We are currently in the process of planning another event in May, a large-scale game night in which families and friends within the local community are invited to come and support our team at a local church, through a night of trivia fun! We are planning on charging a small admission fee, as well as providing the opportunity for additional giving. It’s going to be great!
Personally speaking, the official total each team member must raise is $3,636. Thanks to all of your support, I have currently raised $1,720! [Not including team fundraisers]. Thank you so much for your generosity. I still have a ways to go before I reach my personal goal, but I trust that God will provide the means necessary.
If you still feel led to give, please visit the link for online giving below. Please be sure to designate both our team’s name (Nepal), as well as my name (Andrew Pelt). Also, feel free to forward this email to anyone else you might think would be interested in giving. Thanks again!

Once again, thank you all so much for your support through both prayer and financial giving. Please know that none of it goes unnoticed as we serve with Tiny Hands International. I will continue to keep everyone up to date with pre/post trip information. Also, feel free to follow our team blog and stay connected with us while we are in country!
Thanks so much!
